Starting Thursday, Apr. 23 in the student commons, school mascot tryouts will be held. Students need to email student activities director Katie Odell in order to make an appointment to try out.
The costume has a recommended height of 5’6 but a student of any year or gender can try out. ‘Big Red’ attends basketball and football games in addition to many other sporting events and pep assemblies throughout the year.
“It’s a lot of fun because you get to be a huge goofball without anyone knowing who you are,” Odell said.
