Pasta D’arte Has Authentic Italian Cuisine

Are you ever in the mood for authentic Italian cuisine? We’ll tell you that Pasta D’arte has one of the best, mouth-watering variety of Italian cuisine with the most friendly waitors. You can choose from different types of appetizers, pastas, pizza, and salads for a choice off the dinner menu.

Pasta D’arte is located on Milwaukee Avenue near Superdawg and Mb Financial.  Once you step into the little Italian style  restaurant where the walls are covered in stone and the tables are arranged one by one, you’ll never want to leave. The Italian classical music is playing while a host or hostess is helping you to your table and everyone welcomes you  like they’ve known you forever. The smell of the restaurant makes you want to order anything and everything off the menu.

When ordering, we decided to order familiar foods and entrees that were a new experience to us. As an antipasti (appetizer) we chose was fried Calamari which was served with fresh spicy tomato sauce and a slice of lemon (priced at $9.95).

For our main dish we chose Tortellini al Forno, which is tortellini pasta with your choice of meat or cheese, with creamy tomato sauce, mushrooms, and topped with baked mozzarella cheese (priced at $15.95).

We also ordered Tilapia Limone, which was two pieces of tilapia fish pan-seared in lemon, butter, and wine sauce, topped with sauteed spinach. As a side dish we chose to go with the simple choice of Patate Vesuvio, roasted potatoes served with rosemary and garlic (priced at $4.75).

To end on a sweet note, we looked at the menu and there was a variety of different desserts varying from Cannoli and Tiramisu to Spimoni and Gelato, etc. We chose two different flavors of gelato — a great Italian dessert — one in chocolate- hazelnut and one in pistachio. Gelato is a little pricey at $5.00 a scoop, but definitely worth the money.

Pasta D’arte is a great place for an outing with friends or even dinner with the family. The service is great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian cuisine or anyone who loves to try new food. The restaurant serves lunch Tuesday- Friday starting at 11:30 a.m. and dinner is served daily from 3:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. Make a reservation at (773) 763- 1181 or check out the website at http://pastadarte.com/ .
