The boys varsity volleyball team extended their postseason on Wednesday night as they defeated Glenbrook North to claim the Glenbrook North Regional Championship in three intense sets. The boys won the first set 25-19, GBN set two with a score of 25-23 and West came out victorious in the end with a 25-22 win in the third set.
The boys will travel to face New Trier, at New Trier, tonight at 5:30 in a New Trier Sectional semi-final contest.
Encouraging students to watch the boys play, athletic director Kendall Griffin, in an email, said, “Please help to support and cheer on our teams as they march on during the IHSA State Competitions!”
